1. Service provider and scope
BeautiDesk is operated by the Australian sole trader holding ABN 37 154 043 912 ("we", "us"). Our contact is [email protected]. These terms describe use of the BeautiDesk website, merchant workspace and related booking services.
BeautiDesk provides software to appointment-based businesses. The salon or other merchant supplies the booked service and is responsible for its prices, availability, service quality and appointment policies. BeautiDesk does not provide the treatment or grooming service.
These published terms do not retrospectively replace a separately agreed contract. Where an existing agreement requires notice or acceptance of a change, that process still applies.
2. Accounts and authorised use
You must provide accurate account details and have authority to act for the business or person whose information you enter. Keep your sign-in credentials secure, give staff appropriate access, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
Do not misuse the service, interfere with other accounts, bypass access controls, introduce malicious code, send unlawful messages or submit information you do not have permission to use. You remain responsible for the activity of people you authorise to use your workspace.
3. Plans and trials
Available plans, prices and included limits are shown on the pricing page and in the purchase flow. Public web prices are in Australian dollars; checkout shows the applicable billing amount and any tax. App-store prices and currencies may differ.
The advertised 14-day no-card trial does not itself authorise a charge. Continued paid access requires a purchase. Trial accounts include 20 SMS credits, rather than the full paid-plan allowance. Trial access ends when the trial expires unless you activate a paid subscription.
Features labelled "preview" are previews, not a promise that all related live actions are available. For example, an Apple Wallet card preview does not mean live card issuing is included or enabled. Contact us before purchase if a particular feature is essential to your business.
4. Subscription payments and cancellation
Paid subscriptions renew according to the interval and renewal details accepted at purchase until cancelled. Web subscriptions are managed through the billing controls in the merchant workspace. Subscriptions bought through Apple are managed through your Apple subscription settings.
Cancel before the next renewal to prevent that renewal charge. The billing screen or app store shows when cancellation takes effect and when access ends. Deleting an app or ceasing to use the service does not cancel a subscription. Contact support if you cannot access the cancellation control.
Price changes apply only after we provide the relevant notice and a reasonable opportunity to cancel before the change takes effect. Any revised price must be shown before a new purchase is confirmed.
5. SMS credits and delivery
Paid Starter, Pro, Business and Premium plans respectively include 50, 200, 1,000 and 2,500 SMS credits per billing period. Credits apply to Australian mobile numbers. Confirmation messages, reminders, merchant alerts and other enabled SMS share the same allowance; one appointment can generate more than one message.
The billing screen shows included credits, use and any additional or carried-over balance. Additional credits can be purchased separately. Automatic top-ups are optional and charge only when enabled under the settings you choose. A plan preview does not create additional SMS credits.
You are responsible for accurate phone numbers, the content you send and any consent required for that purpose. Respect marketing opt-outs. Delivery depends on providers, mobile networks, recipient devices, account status and available credits; do not rely on SMS as the sole channel for urgent or safety-critical communication.
6. Appointment changes and merchant policies
Customers should contact the relevant merchant about the booked service, late arrival, appointment cancellation, rescheduling or an appointment refund. Self-service changes are available only where enabled and subject to the merchant's settings. A software subscription cancellation is separate from cancelling an appointment.
7. Refunds and consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including any applicable Australian Consumer Law guarantees.
For a subscription billing error or a service problem, contact support with the account email, payment reference and a description of the issue. Do not send full card details. We assess refund requests according to the purchase terms and applicable law. Where a consumer guarantee gives you a right to a refund or other remedy, that right applies regardless of a general cancellation policy.
For purchases billed by an app store, its refund process may also apply. That does not remove any rights you have under applicable law. See the ACCC's consumer rights guidance.
8. Customer data and privacy
Merchants retain their rights in customer information they lawfully collect. You permit us to process that information to provide, secure and support the service. You must give appropriate privacy notices, collect only information you need and keep access limited to authorised people.
Our Privacy Policy explains processing and requests for access, correction and deletion. Contact support about obtaining account or customer data; available exports depend on the functionality currently enabled. Our Cookie Policy explains optional website analytics and your browser choices.
9. Service availability and changes
We maintain and improve the service, but outages, maintenance or third-party failures can interrupt access. Keep independent records where they are necessary for your business continuity. We will communicate material changes to an active paid service and address problems in accordance with our agreements and applicable law.
We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address abuse, security incidents, non-payment or a legal requirement. Where practical, we will explain the reason and give an opportunity to resolve it. Such action does not remove any applicable refund or consumer rights.
10. Content and intellectual property
You retain your rights in content you provide. You must have the rights needed to upload or share it. BeautiDesk's software, branding and website content remain the property of their respective owners; a subscription permits authorised use of the service, not ownership of its software.
11. Contact and disputes
Email [email protected] with the account or booking reference and the outcome you are seeking. We will investigate and respond. You may also contact an applicable consumer or privacy authority. These terms do not require you to waive access to a court, tribunal or regulator.
